Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) is pleased to announce today that on November 17, 2006, Nikkei 225 mini futures contract has been ratified and promulgated by Taiwan Securities and Futures Bureau (SFB) Commission. OSE applied to the SFB in this regard in order to acquire more expanded and broader investor base in Taiwanese futures market. In Japan, Nikkei 255 mini contracts have been started trading on July 18, 2006.
