    The Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday filed emergency securities fraud charges against an Atlanta promoter to halt a Ponzi scheme that raised at least $30 million from approximately 2,000 investors in fraudulent real estate development partnerships. The Commission's complaint against Pinnacle Development Partners LLC, a Georgia limited liability company with its principal place of business in Atlanta, Ga., and Gene A.   • ICE Futures Sets New Daily Volume Record In Brent Crude Futures

    IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced that its regulated futures subsidiary, ICE Futures, set a new volume record yesterday in the ICE Brent Crude futures contract with 263,282 contracts traded. Contract volume exceeded by 3.2% the previous record of 255,159 contracts traded on September 12, 2006.
