July 2005 Volume: CME Reports Average Daily Volume Of 3.7 Million Contracts In July, Up 15 Percent From Year-Ago Period - CME® Globex® Volume Increased 30 Percent Vs. July 2004
CME, the largest U.S. futures exchange, today said average daily volume for July was 3.7 million contracts, up 15 percent from the same period a year ago. Total monthly volume was more than 73 million contracts. Average daily volume on the CME Globex electronic trading platform averaged 2.5 million contracts, a 30 percent increase from July 2004. Electronic trading represented 69 percent of total CME volume in July, compared with 61 percent in the prior-year period.

July 2005 Statistics For The Boston Options Exchange
BOX’s share of total OCC equity option volume was 6.6% for July 2005, a new record while the BOX share of total OCC option volume topped 6% for the first time. BOX market share for the 466 equity options listed on BOX also set a new record at 7.9%, a 38% increase over the previous month, and a 149% increase over July, 2004. July 2005 - Euronext Key Indicators: Over 14 Million Cash Transactions Completed In July, Up 40.5% Year-On-Year - 12 IPOs On Euronext’s Markets - Euronext.liffe Volumes Up 22% Year-On-Year, 7% Year-To-Date - Record Trading In Euronext.liffe STIR Products
Cash products 14.3 million transactions were completed on Euronext’s cash markets in July 2005, up 40.5% on July last year, making it the busiest month since March 2004. During the first seven months of 2005, nearly 91 million cash transactions were registered on Euronext, up 7.4% compared to the same period last year, representing a daily average of 614,000.

ISE Reports Monthly Volume For July 2005
The International Securities Exchange (NYSE: ISE) today reported equity options trading volume for July 2005. Average daily trading volume in equity options contracts increased 22.3% to 1.7 million contracts traded as compared to 1.4 million contracts traded in the same period in the prior year. Total equity options volume for the month increased 16.5% to 34.2 million contracts traded as compared to 29.3 million contracts traded in the same year-ago period.

Deutsche Boerse: Equities Turnover In July 48 Percent Up Year-On-Year - €331 Billion In Turnover On German Stock Exchanges In July - 7.1 Million Transactions On Xetra
The German stock exchanges generated an equities turnover based on the order book statistics of €111.7 billion in July – an increase of 48 percent year-on-year (July 2004: €75.7 billion). German equities accounted for €104.7 billion of this total, with foreign equities comprising €7 billion. The order book statistics show all transactions in the order book of Xetra and broker-supported trading on the floor in single counting.

CBOT Fed Funds July Settlement
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) 30-Day Fed Funds futures contract for July 2005 will be cash settled this morning at a final settlement price of 96.737, implying an average daily effective federal funds rate of 3.263 percent during the delivery month. Please refer to the attached spreadsheet for more information regarding the calculation of this settlement.

CBOT Average Daily Volume Climbs 12.9 Percent From Last Year - July Total Exchange Volume Increases 7.5 Percent From Last Year
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) announced today that Exchange-wide average daily volume (ADV) continued to climb in July. Average daily volume rose to 2,328,956 contracts in July, up 12.9 percent from the same period last year and 20.4 percent year-to-date (YTD). Total volume in July reached 46,579,116 contracts, up 7.5 percent from the same period in 2004 and 19.6 percent YTD.
