  • CBOE Announces 2007 Second Quarter Financial Results

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that its unaudited pre-tax profit for the three-month period ending June 30, 2007 was $32.2 million, compared to pre-tax profit of $23.7 million during the same period a year ago. Net income for the second quarter was $18.7 million, compared to $14.2 million during the second quarter in 2006. CBOE's average daily volume during April, May and June was 3.5 million contracts, compared to 2.9 million contracts during the same three-month period
