    The interest shown in the two roadshows in London and Edinburgh on 20 and 21 September 2006 is overwhelming. A number of 25 companies will take part in the investor conference in London organized by Wiener Börse and CA IB, and in Edinburgh (jointly with Raiffeisen Centrobank) the number will even be 23 companies. In comparison, attendance last year was 18 companies in London and 17 in Edinburgh.

  • STOXX Ltd. Launches Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 Buywrite Index

    STOXX Ltd., the leading European index provider, today launched the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 BuyWrite Index. This new measurement tool is the first pan-European buy-write index, which measures the performance of a hypothetical portfolio of a long position of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index and a sold call option based on the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index.

  • Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

    Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, September 18, 2006: Peerless Energy Inc. (TSXVN:PRY.A) will be removed from the index. The company will merge with Valiant Energy Inc. (TSX:VLE) and will trade on the TSX under the ticker symbol PRY.A.
