Standard & Poor’s Announces The Treatment Of The SRG Spin-Off From Macquarie Infrastructure Group In The S&P/ASX 50
Standard & Poor’s, the leading provider of equity indices in Australia, announces the inclusion of Sydney Roads Group (ASX: SRG) in the S&P/ASX 50 and all related indices. SEC Votes To Publish Interpretive Guidance On "Soft Dollars" Safe Harbor And To Propose Amendments To Regulation SHO
The Securities and Exchange Commission today voted to publish an Interpretive Release that provides guidance on money managers' use of client commissions to pay for brokerage and research services under the "soft dollars" safe harbor, which is set forth in Section 28(e) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Commission also voted to propose amendments to Regulation SHO (17 CFR 242.200 et seq.) that would further reduce the number of persistent fails to deliver.

Osaka Securities Exchange: No-Action Letter Received For Nikkei 225 Mini
Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) is pleased to announce that a No-Action Letter for Nikkei 225 mini has been received from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), as of July 10, 2006 (U.S EST). In order to broaden the investor base in futures contracts, OSE applied to the CFTC to issue a No-Action Letter in this regard and trading in Nikkei 255 mini will be commenced on July 18, 2006.
