HKEx's Mini-HSI Futures Market Is Now Open To Taiwan Investors

Investors from Taiwan can now participate in Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited's (HKEx) Mini-Hang Seng Index (MHI) futures market as a result of the MHI futures contract's addition to the Taiwan financial regulator's list of overseas futures contracts with trading authorisation. The MHI futures contract has joined HKEx's Hang Seng Index futures contract on the list.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For H-shares Index And Mini H-shares Index Futures

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 21 October 2008, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining method
