  • Euronext Announces Proposal To Bondholders To Insert Call Option In Outstanding 2009 Bonds

    Euronext N.V. today announced a proposal to the holders of its £ 250 million 5.125% Notes due 2009 to insert a call option at gilt flat for an early redemption of the Notes. Euronext seeks through this proposal to gain flexibility to possibly restructure or refinance its debt at lower cost in the future. Should the proposal be approved, Euronext will have until 30 June 2007 to exercise the call, should it wish to do so.

    The London Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. today announced details of an agreement aimed at enhancing their international presence through co-operation on access arrangements and the development of new products. This is the first time that the two exchanges have agreed to work together, and it is expected that the co-operation will bring benefits for investors, issuers and member firms.
