HKEx Renewal Of Contract With Chief Executive

The Board of Directors of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (“HKEx”) is pleased to announce that Mr Paul M Y Chow (“Mr Chow”) has, at the request of the Board, agreed to extend his employment contract as the Chief Executive of HKEx for a further one-year term from 1 May 2009 to 30 April 2010.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) reported strong transaction volume growth in U.S. and European trading operations in February 2008, with double-digit increases in trading volume across all of NYSE Euronext's products and exchanges compared to the same period in 2007 and year-to-date.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore (MAS) Assumes Regulatory Role For SICOM

With effect from 27 February 2008, the Singapore Commodity Exchange will be regulated by the Monetary Authority Of Singapore (MAS). The transfer of regulatory oversight of commodity futures from IE Singapore under the Commodity Trading Act (CTA) to MAS under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) has been completed. This would subject commodity futures to the same regulatory framework as other types of futures contracts (such as financial futures contracts)

On Mar. 4, 2008, the trading volume of Cotton futures contracts on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) hit a new high at 182568 contracts, exceeding the last record of 146672 contracts set on Oct. 10, 2007 .

Dalian Commodity Exchange Sets 4 New Records Today

DCE announced that it set four records today, it totally achieved 4,485,642 contracts, worth 238.48 billion yuan. Soybean oil futures totaled 736,664 contracts, worth 103.95 billion yuan.
