CME Group Appoints Nelson Low As Director, Commodity Products, Asia

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced the appointment of Nelson Low as Director, Commodity Products, Asia. In this newly-created position, Low will be responsible for growing CME Group's commodities business, including leading sales, marketing and education efforts throughout Asia. He will be based in Singapore and will report to Robert Ray, Managing Director, Commodities, Equities and International Sales.

SEC Adopts Regulations To Implement Sudan Accountability And Divestment Act Of 2007

The Securities and Exchange Commission has adopted rules requiring a registered investment company (fund) to disclose when it divests, in accordance with the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act of 2007, from securities of issuers that the fund determines conduct or have direct investments in certain business operations in Sudan. Montréal Exchange Inc.has been deleted from the FTSE/Mondo Visione Exchanges Index following the completion of the acquisition of Montréal Exchange by TSX Group. This change which was effective at the opening of trading on as of start of trading on 2nd May 2008, decreases the number of components in the FTSE/Mondo Visione Exchanges Index from 20 to 19.

NYSE Euronext (NYX ) today announced that four new Deutsche Bank Commodity Index Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs) listed and began trading on NYSE Arca. As an industry leader in ETF and ETN listings and trading such products listed on NYSE Arca represent 56% of ETF and ETN assets under management in the U.S. , nearly $609 billion, the most of any exchange.
