In the first six months of 2007 the total volume of exchange-based trading on all markets of the MICEX Group amounted to 37.14 trillion rubles (1.43 trillion US dollars), 1.7 times more than in the same period of 2006. The average daily volume of exchange-based trades on the MICEX Group’s markets grew to 312 billion rubles (about 12 billion dollars). The Directorate of the MICEX Stock Exchange has adopted the waiting list of the MICEX Index for the 3rd quarter of 2007. In the 3rd quarter the waiting list will be supplemented with stocks of VTB Bank, MMK, JGK-2, KAMAZ, VolgaTelecom, Polimetall, KALINA Concern and UAZ. Stocks of OGK-6 and Vozrozhdenie Bank have been excluded from the list.

This figure includes the net trading value at Bovespa, which registered an outflow of BRL 138,629,843.00 (or USD 65,517,024.00), and purchases of international investors in the public offerings, which amounted to BRL 15,747,546,332.40 (or USD 7,603,564,304.00) in 2007.
