HKFE Announces Revised Margins For HSBC Futures

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 5 March 2010, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The value of ASX-listed stocks, as measured by the All Ordinaries Index, rose 1.2% in February to recover some of the decline experienced in January (-5.9%).
