Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a global capital markets technology platform services provider, announced that it will support clients' ability to execute trades on a range of U.S.-regulated prediction markets, beginning with trading connectivity to Kalshi. Trading on Kalshi, the world's largest federally regulated prediction market, is expected to go live on the TT® platform in the third quarter.

Recently, in accordance with the unified deployment of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has revised the Interim Provisions on the Application and Recommendation of Enterprises for Issuance and Listing on the SSE STAR Market (Draft for Comments) (hereinafter referred to as the "Interim Provisions") and is soliciting public comments on the draft. The revision aims to implement the requirements of the national outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan and the classification of strategic emerging industries, with a focus on cultivating and expanding emerging industries and future industries. It supports eligible "hard-tech" enterprises in more fields—such as quantum technology, biomanufacturing, hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion energy, brain-computer interfaces, embodied intelligence, and sixth-generation mobile communication (6G)—to list on the STAR Market, and continuously enhances the STAR Market's adaptability and inclusiveness in serving high-level technological self-reliance and self-strengthening.

Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission Seeks Share Buy-Out Order Against Former Chairman Of Target Insurance (Holdings) Limited

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has commenced legal proceedings in the Court of First Instance to seek an order requiring Mr Ng Yu – former chairman, executive director, and non-executive director of Target Insurance (Holdings) Limited (Target Holdings) – to buy out the company’s shares held by the investing public for alleged breach of fiduciary duties that ultimately led to de-listing following trading suspension.

In an appeal brought by ASIC, the High Court has unanimously found that the fixed-yield digital asset product ‘Earner’ offered by Block Earner was a financial product, and that Block Earner consequently required an Australian financial services licence.
