BTIG Begins Offering Access To Tokyo Stock Exchange’s CONNEQTOR Platform

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (hereinafter “TSE”) launched CONNEQTOR, its RFQ (Request For Quote) platform, in February 2021 with an aim to enhance liquidity in the ETF market. As a recent development, TSE is pleased to announce that, BTIG, LLC, a global financial services firm, has begun offering its clients access to CONNEQTOR.

Shanghai Futures Exchange: Circular On Further Expanding The Investment Scope Of Qualified Foreign Investors In Commodity Futures And Options

With the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), starting from 9:00 a.m. on September 10, 2025, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) will further expand the investment scope of Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors and RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (hereinafter collectively referred to as Qualified Foreign Investors, QFI) to include the following commodity futures and options contracts:
1. Bitumen futures contracts; and
2. Fuel oil, bitumen, and woodpulp options contracts.

New Zealand Financial Markets Authority: NZ IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts Thematic Review Insights

The New Zealand Equivalent to International Financial Reporting Standard 17 Insurance Contracts (NZ IFRS 17) is a newly introduced accounting standard for all categories of insurance contracts, superseding NZ IFRS 4. The new standard sets out principles for the recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of insurance contracts, applicable for reporting periods commencing on or after 1 January 2023.
