Thank you, Professor Ho for that kind introduction and for the opportunity to talk to the Vassar community.1 I am happy to be back on campus. As a teenager in Washington, D.C., I had the very good fortune that a high school counselor pushed me to apply to Vassar College. I was accepted, and I earned my bachelor's degree here. Attending Vassar opened a wider variety of opportunities to me than I would have otherwise had available. But I encountered one problem: Vassar did not offer any banking or business courses, which is what I wanted to study. So, I enrolled in an economics class, figuring it was the next best thing. I was hooked, and I have been studying economics ever since.

MIAX Exchange Group: Amendment To Rule 402, Criteria For Underlying Securities, To List And Trade Options On The Goldman Sachs Physical Gold ETF And Amend The Names Of Certain Trusts To Reflect Their Current Names

The MIAX Exchange Group has received approval for the Securities and Exchange Commission to amend Rule 402, Criteria for Underlying Securities. The changes are as follows:
- Add the Goldman Sachs Physical Gold ETF to the list of ETFs on which the listing and trading of options are permitted, and
- Amend the names of “ETFS Silver Trust,” “ETFS Palladium Trust,” and “ETFS Platinum Trust” to “Aberdeen Standard Silver ETF Trust,” “Aberdeen Standard Palladium ETF Trust,” and “Aberdeen Standard Platinum ETF Trust,” respectively.

Nodal Exchange To Expand Headquarters In Fairfax County

Earlier today, Governor Glenn Youngkin announced that Nodal Exchange, a Fairfax County-based derivatives exchange providing price, credit, and liquidity risk management solutions to participants in the North American commodities markets, will increase capacity at its headquarters located at 1921 Gallows Road in Tysons. The expansion will create 33 new jobs.
