    The value of average daily share trading amounted to EUR 2.5 billion, (2009: EUR 2.2 billion per day). The number of trades per day amounted to 285,423 trades per day, (2009: 213,573 trades per day. The total derivatives trading amounted to 545,891 contracts per day, (2009: 400,066 contracts per day). Interest rate derivatives trading amounted to 108,711 contracts per day (2009: 83,710 contracts per day). The turnover rate was 87 percent (2009: 107 percent).

IGCT will calculate daily the performance of shares issued by companies that have voluntarily adopted differentiated corporate governance standards and which meet the inclusion standards that have been established by the index’s methodology.
