EEX: Third Flemish Auction Clears At 3.66 Euro
Today, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) carried out the third auction on behalf of the Flanders region. In the auction, 2 million EUA have been sold at a price of 3.66 Euro/EUA. The total bidding amount was 5,780,000 EUA which means that participants demanded nearly 3-fold the determined volume. 16 companies took part in the auction.

Eurex Group And Bombay Stock Exchange Announce Technology Alliance - Agreement Brings BSE Onto The Eurex Group’s Technology Platform
Eurex Group and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) announced today that they have agreed to deepen their strategic partnership through a long-term technology alliance under which BSE will join the Eurex technology roadmap and deploy Deutsche Börse Group’s trading architecture in a first step. BSE aims to replace its derivatives market platform in the course of 2013 and plans to subsequently replace also its cash market platform. This agreement is an important step in further developing the strategic partnership between Eurex and BSE.

EEX To Carry Out Additional Phase II EUA Auction For Lithuania
The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will conduct one additional auction of Phase II EU allowances (EUA) for Lithuania. The Lithuanian ministry of the Environment commissioned EEX to auction 1,204,000 EUAs via the Spot Market of the exchange. These allowances are leftover volumes from the Lithuanian New Entrants Reserve (NER) for the second phase of the EU emissions trading scheme (2008 to 2012).

SGX Deepens Asian Derivatives Shelf With New Equity Indices
Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with global index provider MSCI for 14 new regional and country indices. With this, SGX has licensed a total of 19 MSCI indices, encompassing almost all of Asia’s key capital and other growth markets.
