Direct Edge Trading Notice #14-22: Enhancement To Route Peg Orders

EDGX ExchangeSM (EDGX®) and EDGA ExchangeSM (EDGA®) are updating the behavior of the Route Peg Order.  Route Peg Orders are non-displayed limit orders that are automatically pegged to the National Best Bid (NBB) for buy orders and National Best Offer (NBO) for sell orders, and execute against routable orders.  Currently, Route Peg Orders are only eligible for execution against orders that are equal to or less than the original quantity of the Route Peg Order.

SIFMA's Economic Advisory Roundtable unveiled today its outlook for full year 2014 and 2015, forecasting that the economy will grow at a 2.2 percent rate in full-year 2014 and will grow 3.1 percent in 2015. 

OneChicago OCX.Weekly® Futures To List Each Friday- Exchange Plans To Extend Listing Of Weekly Futures Products With Next-Day Settlement To Each Day Of The Week

OneChicago, LLC (OCX), an equity finance exchange, today announced it will offer a new suite of products called OCX.Weekly beginning Friday, June 20. The exchange will continue to list weekly futures each subsequent Friday. The OCX.Weekly futures will be listed only using the OCX.NoDivRisk contracts and will be physically settled with next day settlement upon expiration as opposed to the T+3 settlement cycle.

CFTC Chairman Tim Massad Announces Staff Appointments

U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairman Timothy Massad today announced his staff hires as he starts his chairmanship. These individuals will work with the chairman to set the agenda of the Commission and to carry out the responsibilities of implementing the Dodd-Frank Act and ensuring compliance with the Commission’s regulations. Today’s announcement follows Chairman Massad naming Aitan Goelman to lead the agency’s Division of Enforcement.
