  • EEX And EPEX SPOT Approved As Pre-Registered RRM - EEX Group To Offer REMIT Data Reporting Services

    European Energy Exchange (EEX) and EPEX SPOT have been approved as pre-registered reporting mechanisms (RRMs) by the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER). The authorisation as an RRM is a prerequisite for offering data reporting services in the context of the Regulation on Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT). ACER published the list of RRMs on 3 June 2015.

  • Bank Of England Maintains Bank Rate At 0.5% And The Size Of The Asset Purchase Programme At £375 Billion

    he Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee at its meeting on 3 June voted to maintain Bank Rate at 0.5%.  The Committee also voted to maintain the stock of purchased assets financed by the issuance of central bank reserves at £375 billion.

  • ICE Trade Vault Europe Approved By ESMA As Trade Repository For FX Derivatives

    Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading global network of exchanges and clearing houses, announced today that the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) approved ICE Trade Vault Europe Limited (ICE Trade Vault Europe) to extend its Trade Repository registration for the reporting of foreign-exchange (FX) derivatives trade data. The approval meets requirements of the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). ICE Trade Vault Europe will assume the collection of FX derivatives data, which includes futures, options and forwards, with immediate effect.
