TOCOM Dubai Crude Oil Volume Renewed Monthly And Annual Records - 2015 Total Volume Increased By 11.6 Percent To 24,399,068 Contracts

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. announced today that Dubai Crude Oil futures volume for December 2015 was 503,119 contracts, which renewed an all-time high reached in September 2015 at 386,181 contracts. The annual volume for 2015 also hit the highest level since the launch in 2001 with 3,651,528 contracts.

MIAX Options Exchange: Fee Changes Based Upon Implementation Of Series 57 Securities Trader Qualification Exam And CE Program

Effective January 4, 2016, MIAX is eliminating certain Web CRD Fees relating to the Series 56 Proprietary Trader Examination ("PT") and Continuing Education (“CE”) Program that will no longer apply following implementation of the new Securities Trader registration category ("TD") qualification examination (Series 57) and the S101 CE Program applicable to Securities Traders.

Börse Berlin completes 2015 with a total turnover of €69 billion (€54.6 billion/2014) – an increase of 26.4%. The number of trades grew substantially by 21.3% reaching 9.7 million (2014: eight million).

Moscow Exchanges Trading Schedule For New Year Public Holidays

Moscow Exchange has set the following trading schedule for its markets for 4-6 January 2016:
- The Equity & Bond and Derivatives Markets will operate as usual;
- All instruments will trade on the FX and Precious Metals Markets, except trades with today settlement and swap transactions with their first parts settled on the same day;
- The Standardised OTC Derivatives market will be closed.

Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced that an issuer was able to use its Nasdaq Linq blockchain ledger technology to successfully complete and record a private securities transaction – the first of its kind using blockchain technology. Chain.com, an inaugural Nasdaq Linq client and blockchain developer, documented its issuance of shares to a private investor using Nasdaq’s blockchain-enabled technology. This transaction represents a major advance in the application of blockchain technology for private companies.

Thai Bourse Changes Constituents In SET100 And SETHD Indices For First Half Of 2016 Due To BMCL And BECL Merger

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has added BEM, a new listed company as a result of the merger between BMCL and BECL to calculate in SET100 index to replace BMCL and BECL; and in SETHD index to replace BECL, for the first half of 2016. SGP, a listed company in the reserve list, will be added in SET100 index calculation in order to maintain the number of constituents, effective from January 4, 2016 onwards.
