At the end of the settlement date of December 15, 2015, short interest in 2,312 Nasdaq Global MarketSM securities totaled 8,094,051,950 shares compared with 8,127,211,315 shares in 2,314 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of November 30, 2015. The Mid-December short interest represents 5.20 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.80 days for the prior reporting period.
