Chinese Traders Charged With Trading On Hacked Nonpublic Information Stolen From Two Law Firms - Marks First Time SEC Charges Hacking Into Law Firm Computer Networks

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged three Chinese traders with fraudulently trading on hacked nonpublic market-moving information stolen from two prominent New York-based law firms, racking up almost $3 million in illegal profits. The SEC also is seeking an asset freeze that prevents the traders from cashing in on their illicit gains. The enforcement action marks the first time the SEC has charged hacking into a law firm’s computer network.

Nasdaq Stockholm Orders CareDx To Pay A Special Fine Of SEK 1 Million

The Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm has ordered CareDx, Inc. (“CareDx”) to pay a special fine of SEK 1,000,000 to Nasdaq for breaches of Nasdaq Stockholm’s Takeover Rules (the “Takeover Rules”).

The Council of Experts Concerning the Japanese Version of the Stewardship Code (Chairman: Professor Hiroyuki Kansaku, The University of Tokyo) published the Principles for Institutional Investors (Japan’s Stewardship Code) in February 27, 2014. The Council requested the FSA to publish and periodically update the list of institutional investors who announced their acceptance of the Code.

The Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm has found that Melitho AB (“Melitho”) has breached the rules of Nasdaq First North Bond Market (“the Rule Book”) and therefore decided that the company’s corporate bond is to be removed from Nasdaq First North Bond Market by February 28, 2017.
