Thomson Reuters has completed its acquisition of REDI Holdings, allowing Thomson Reuters to incorporate an advanced, cross-asset execution management system (EMS) into its buy-side trading capabilities and deliver integrated trading workflow solutions to the buy-side community. REDI will now operate as Thomson Reuters REDI.

BSE: Revision Of Scrips In Trade To Trade Segment

As a part of Surveillance measures and based on the extant SEBI framework, the Exchanges transfer various securities for settlement on a Trade-to-Trade basis. The criteria for shifting securities to/from for settlement on trade to trade basis is decided in consultation with SEBI and applied uniformly across the stock exchanges and reviewed periodically.

Clearstream’s Monthly Report - German Market Prepares For TARGET2-Securities Migration - Clearstream Gets Ready For Important Milestone

With the upcoming fourth and penultimate migration wave of TARGET2-Securities (T2S), Europe is taking a crucial step towards a harmonised settlement landscape. Clearstream, the largest T2S participant, will go live in February 2017, bringing about 40 percent of the overall volume to the European Central Bank’s settlement platform. This will lead to a doubling of current volumes.

Mr Dharam Prakash Gopee has today, 17 January 2017, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court charged with offences under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. These charges arise from an investigation carried out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) into Mr Gopee and companies he controls including Reddy Corporation Ltd, Speedy Bridging Finance Ltd and Barons Finance Ltd.

The SMSG’s overall view of these guidelines is positive. The guidelines provide guidance and establish a framework to define the target market for investment products under MiFID II and in doing so, reduce the risk of miss-selling. At the same time, they are not overly complicated.
