    London Stock Exchange Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased through RBC Europe Limited, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 26 April 2017, the following number of its ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each ("Shares") on the London Stock Exchange as part of the buyback programme announced on 29 March 2017:

    During the 2017 Annual Meetings held in Bangkok, Mr. Rashid bin Ali Al-Mansoori, CEO of Qatar Stock Exchange, was today reelected as a Board Member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE). The meetings also resulted in the election of a number of Board Members representing the world's different regions; the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe-Middle East-Africa. Mr. Al-Mansoori was elected by the WFE General Assembly to represent Europe-Middle East-Africa region for three-year term.
