BME Clearing To Provide NEX Market's Clients With A New Clearing Option

BME, through its BME Clearing subsidiary, and NEX Markets, which provides electronic trading technology services in the fixed income and FX markets, have signed an agreement whereby BME Clearing will start offering repo clearing services to participants currently connected to NEX Market’s BrokerTec platform.

Good morning. This is an open meeting of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, under the Government in the Sunshine Act. Today, the Commission will consider two recommendations from the Division of Corporation Finance and one recommendation from the Division of Trading and Markets. The fourth item that appeared on the Sunshine Act notice has been removed. The staff continues to refine and work with the Commission on the recommendation, and I expect that recommendation to be voted on shortly.
US Financial Stability Oversight Council Announces Proposed Decision To Grant Petition From ZB, N.A.

The Financial Stability Oversight Council (Council) today announced that it has made a proposed decision to grant the appeal of ZB, N.A. (Zions) under section 117 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act). The Dodd-Frank Act provides for the Council to report to Congress on any proposed decision under section 117, and subsequently to make a final decision regarding the company’s appeal.
