  • ETFGI Reports Assets Invested In ETFs And ETPs Listed In Asia Pacific (Ex-Japan) Reached A New High Of $186 Billion At The End Of August 2018

    ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today that assets invested in ETFs and ETPs listed in Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) reached a new high of US$186 billion, following net inflows of US$2.93 billion and market moves during August. Inflows during the month were primarily driven by products providing exposure to China, according to ETFGI’s August 2018 Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) ETF and ETP industry landscape insights report, an annual paid-for research subscription service.  (All dollar values in USD unless otherwise noted.)

  • Tokyo Commodity Exchange Officially Scheduled To List TSR Futures On October 9

    The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (TOCOM) announced that their new Technically Specified Rubber (TSR) futures contracts will list on October 9, 2018 after receiving regulatory approval from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry today.

  • EGX Launches Its Training Program On "Risk Management" For Brokerage Firms

    The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has launched a training program on "Risk Management" in cooperation with the Investor Protection Fund. The training aims at developing the competences of the risk management departments’ employees of the brokerage firms to enable them to design effective policies that strengthen their companies’ in this regard for more stability in the securities industry. The Free training program includes two rounds each is four-days. The program started on Monday, July 9 and ends on Thursday, July 12. Approximately 70 brokerage firms attend each round from Cairo and Alexandria
