More Than Eight Treasures – Vienna Stock Exchange Expands Foreign Segment Global Market With Shares From Asia

As of today, 33 new shares from China, India, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan are tradable on the global market of the Vienna Stock Exchange. These include selected shares of world-renowned brands and companies such as the Alibaba Group (digital trading platform), Tata Motors (automobile manufacturer), Samsung Electronics (electronics group), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (semiconductor industry) and Sony (consumer electronics). Since its launch in summer 2017, a total of 571 securities from 24 countries have been offered to domestic investors in the global market segment.

Bank Of England: Bank Rate Maintained At 0.75% - September 2018 - Monetary Policy Summary And Minutes Of The Monetary Policy Committee Meeting

Our Monetary Policy Committee has voted unanimously to maintain Bank Rate at 0.75%. The committee also voted unanimously to maintain the stock of corporate bond purchases and UK government bond purchases.

Mr Pototschnig, Current ACER Director, To Stay On As Director Ad Interim, Until His Successor Is Appointed

ACER Administrative Board, in its meeting of 23 July 2018, took note of the fact that the procedure for the selection of the next Director of the Agency, launched with the publication of the vacancy notice on 30 August 2017, did not result in any appointment and, therefore, determined to invite the current Director, Mr Alberto Pototschnig, to remain in office as Director ad interim beyond the end of his current mandate on 15 September 2018.

Sweden's Finansinspektionen Comments On Nasdaq Clearing's Decision Yesterday

Nasdaq Clearing AB has decided to declare a clearing member in the firm’s commodity market in default. The member is active in the electricity derivatives markets through trading on the Norwegian Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Oslo ASA. These financial instruments are centrally cleared in Nasdaq Clearing AB, a firm under Finansinspektionen’s (FI’s) supervision.
