  • EEX To Conduct Secondary Market Auction For Emission Allowances On Behalf Of Latvia

    The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will conduct a secondary market auction for European emission allowances (EUAs) on behalf of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development from Latvia. The auction is scheduled for 16thNovember 2018 with the bidding window being open from 09:00 to 11:00 (CET). The auction volume amounts to 3,126,500 EUAs. This is the first auction on behalf of a public auctioneer on the EEX secondary market which means that the certificates have already been allocated to the market, but have not been used for compliance before.

  • SIX Swiss Stock Exchange - Exchange Services Trading Key Figures: October 2018

    In October, trading turnover on the Swiss stock exchange was up by 30.3% on the prior month to reach CHF 128.2 billion, equating to an average turnover of CHF 5.5 billion per trading day. There was also a rise in the number of transactions by 50.2% to 6,210,713, compared to September. In comparison with the corresponding period last year, trading turnover was up by 1.5% to CHF 1,147.2 billion, while the number of trades rose by 18.7% to 50,707,484.
