ACER: New REMIT Quarterly Just Published

The 19th edition of the Agency’s REMIT Quarterly has been published on the REMIT Portal. Covering the last quarter of 2019, this edition provides the Agency’s assessment of the operation of different categories of market places and ways of trading, describing the trends in data reporting and collection, as well as statistics regarding market participants, registered reporting mechanisms and transactions on organised market places observed in 2019.

CFTC Charges Investment Firm And VP With Commodity Pool Fraud

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced the filing of a civil enforcement action in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina charging Winston Reed Investments LLC (WRI)and its vice president and investment consultant, Mark N. Pyatt a/k/a Daniel Randolph, a former North Carolina resident, with misappropriation of customer funds and fraudulent solicitation in connection with a commodity pool.

European Commission High-Level Forum On Capital Markets Union: Interim Report

On 20 February 2020 the High-Level Forum published its interim report. The report, which does not put forward any specific policy proposals yet, sets out a new vision for the future of the capital markets union and will guide the work of the Forum in the coming months. Publication of the final report is due in May 2020.

SET To Include CRC In SET50 And SET100 From February 25

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will add newly listed Central Retail Corporation pcl (CRC), which made its debut trade on February 20, 2020, in the calculation of the SET50 Index and the SET100 Index, effective from February 25, 2020. Banpu Power pcl (BPP) and Asia Aviation pcl (AAV) will be removed from SET50 and SET100 indices and transferred to respective reserve lists.
