  • ACER: Most EU Gas Transportation Networks Not Yet Ready To Transport Hydrogen

    For the European Union (EU) to be climate neutral by 2050, gas networks will have to be gradually adapted to carry green gases such as biomethane and hydrogen. 23 national regulatory authorities (NRAs) have looked into the current possibilities for admixing hydrogen and injecting biomethane or transporting pure hydrogen via existing gas networks, as well as network adaptations to allow this in the future and reported via a survey to the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).

  • ESMA Publishes Guidelines On Securitisation Repository Data Completeness And Consistency Thresholds

    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, has today published its final report on the Guidelines on securitisation respository data completeness and consistency thresholds. The Guidelines provide clarity for market participants and securitisation repositories (SRs) on the accepted levels of No-Data (ND) options contained in the securitisation data submitted to SRs.


  • UK Financial Conduct Authority: Annual Report And Accounts 2019/20 And Annual Public Meeting

    THe FCA normally publish its Annual Report and Accounts in July. However, the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for the National Audit Office in completing the audit of the FCA’s financial statements, as well as those of other public bodies, in the usual timeframe. This means the FCA will be unable to lay the document in Parliament in July. In response to the challenges caused by the pandemic affecting a number of other government entities, HMT has announced a general extension to the filing deadline to 30 September. In line with HMT and other similarly affected public bodies, the FCA will now be publishing our Annual Report and Accounts for 2019/2020 in September.
