In the social sciences, the idea of the well endowed receiving further privilege, eg the rich getting richer, is often called the "Matthew effect" (New Testament Book of Matthew, 25:29). In economics, this effect is relevant particularly for wealth inequality. The effect could be amplified by financial development and technological advances that give investors access to better financial services or to assets with higher returns.

ACER To Decide On Electricity Methodology For Operational Security Coordination In 13 EU Member States

Tradeweb Reports Robust Monthly Volumes In June; Strong Second Quarter Caps Record Half Year

Average daily volume (ADV) across rates, credit, equities and money markets for Tradeweb Markets was $780.9 billion (bn) in June 2020, a decrease of 8.9 percent (%) year over year (YoY). The decrease was driven primarily by softness in trading of lower fee per million swaps with tenor < 1 year. Average daily trades for the month totaled 50,875.

Emerging Market FX Volumes Return To Pre-COVID-19 Levels

Emerging markets (EM) currency pair volumes returned to near pre-COVID-19 levels for the first time since the crisis in the latter three weeks of June, according to data from FXLIQUIDITY, provided by Mosaic Smart Data, CLS and MUFG. In the previous report from the free foreign exchange data analytics service, EM currencies had been at +11% of pre-crisis levels.

Maximilian von Wallenberg (36) has become a member of the Management Board of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Exchange GmbH on 1 July 2020. He succeeds Dr Dirk Sturz, who has left the company at his own request to pursue a new career challenge. Beside von Wallenberg, Peter Großkopf is also a member of the Management Board of the company, which is the technical operator of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Exchange (BSDEX). Boerse Stuttgart Digital Exchange GmbH is a joint venture of Boerse Stuttgart GmbH, Axel Springer SE, finanzen.net GmbH and SBI Crypto Investment.

Trading Technologies Enters Into Multi-Year Agreement With TP ICAP For Implementation Of TTĀ® OMS

Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a global provider of high-performance professional trading software, infrastructure and data solutions, and the Institutional Services division (IS) of TP ICAP, the world’s largest interdealer broker, today announced the two firms have entered into a multi-year agreement whereby TP ICAP will utilize TT’s new Order Management System (OMS) solution. Through this agreement, TP ICAP IS will replace 85 trading screens in London, Paris and New York with TT’s award-winning TT Pro trading screen.
