Macro Data Prompts Cautiousness Among Investors, With Altcoins Being Favoured - Coinshares: Fund Flows

• Digital asset investment products saw minor outflows totalling US$7m last week following a week of macro data that significantly beat expectations to the upside.
• The focus was primarily Bitcoin, which saw outflows totalling US$10.9m, although there were also outflows from short-bitcoin investment products totalling US$3.5m.
• Investors seem to be more discerning this year, with select coins performing well, while overall 10 altcoins saw inflows last week totalling US$4.8m.

The latest BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) European ESG ETF Barometer reveals that most  investors surveyed expect the European ESG ETF market to continue to expand over the coming year.  In particular, it shows particular interest in low-carbon, PAB-aligned strategies and renewed confidence around sustainability labels.

The Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), Ian Johnston, has been appointed as the Vice Chair of the Africa and Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC) and so, a board member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). IOSCO is the global standard-setter for securities regulation.
