  • NECA Signs Co-Operation Agreement With Sydney Futures Exchange

    The National Electricity Code Administrator (NECA) and the Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE) have today announced the signing of an agreement committing them to work closely together on their market surveillance and monitoring activities. The memorandum of understanding will allow for continuing co-operation and exchange of information and expertise to ensure both organisations can more effectively fulfil their respective monitoring and regulatory roles.

  • HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 30 August 2002, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

  • Helsinki Exchanges: The Listing Committee Will Commence Its Work

    The Listing committee of the Helsinki Exchanges will commence its work 1 September. The Listing Committee will decide on the listing of unlisted companies to the Main List, I List and NM List. The purpose of the introduction of the Listing Committee is to increase the representation and expertise of commercial and industrial life and securities markets in the decision making regarding admission to listing.
