Bahrain Stock Exchange Weekly Report
After four weeks of continuous gains, the BSE index lowered 2.4 points this week. However, the market moved at a faster pace with the volume and value of trades increasing by 77% and 40% respectively. This is despite four trading days (due to one-day national holiday) and the advent of Ramadan that normally witnesses' lower trades. The downward pressure on the market widened the decline advance ratio as 15 companies lost ground and only three advanced in value.
