Instinet Group Incorporated (NASDAQ: INGP) today announced May 2004 transaction data for its two major business segments: Instinet, the Institutional Broker and INET, the Electronic Marketplace. In May 2004, Instinet's total average daily U.S. equity share volume was 104 million shares, which represents a 2.7% share of the U.S. equity market. Copenhagen Stock Exchange - Still More Companies In MidCap+ And SmallCap+

The Exchange has just elected the constituent shares of the future MidCap+ and SmallCap+ portfolios, which will be effective from 1 July until the turn of the year. The number of companies having qualified for the plus segments in the coming six-month period is now 63 as against 59 today.

CBOE Closed On Friday June 11; OEX Exercises Not Allowed

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), as previously announced, will be closed on Friday, June 11, 2004 in honor of the National Day of Mourning for former President Ronald Reagan. Therefore, Exercise Notices on American-style, cash-settled index option classes, such as the S&P 100 index options ("OEX"), will not be accepted, and are prohibited.

California Approves Pacific Exchange Demutualization Applications

The California Department of Corporations yesterday approved applications of the Pacific Exchange (PCX) for its demutualization proposal.
