FIH Erhvervsbank A/S has been approved as a member of the Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen. As of Monday 24 April, FIH Erhvervsbank will join the Copenhagen Exchange’s equity and bond markets.

Eurex Introduces 16 New Single Stock Futures On Swiss Equities - New Products To Launch On 24 April - Eurex Product Range Grows To 96 Equity Futures - Trading Volume Climbs Sharply With Daily Record Trading Of 1.26 Million Contracts On 12 April

Eurex, the world's largest derivatives exchange, is further expanding its range of single stock futures. Eurex will introduce an additional 16 single stock futures on Swiss equities on 24 April, completing its coverage of the Swiss equity index SMI. Furthermore, Eurex will extend the terms for all contracts from one year to three, with monthly expiration dates and two annual expiration dates in December.

Clearing And Settlement: European Commission Expert Group Examines EU Fiscal Compliance Barriers To Cross Border Securities Trading

The European Commission’s Clearing and Settlement Fiscal Compliance expert group (“FISCO”) has issued a Fact Finding Study examining EU Member States' fiscal compliance procedures for clearing and settlement of cross-border securities transactions. The Study analyses how these procedures hinder the functioning of capital markets and increase the cost of cross-border settlement, particularly in relation to withholding and transaction taxes. CBOT Holdings First Quarter 2006 Revenue Up 23 Percent Operating Margin Expands To 41 Percent

CBOT Holdings, Inc., holding company for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®), announced today that first quarter 2006 revenue rose 23 percent to $143.6 million compared with $116.5 million in the 2005 first quarter. Net income in the 2006 first quarter increased $14.3 million to $35.1 million, up 69 percent compared with $20.8 million in the first quarter of 2005. First quarter 2006 earnings per diluted share were $0.66.
