Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Volume For June Posts Increases

Total volume of trade on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. ("WCE") during June 2006 was 25.6% over the level of June 2005 and 3.8% over the total for May 2006. There were 254,704 futures and options contracts traded during the month. This is the thirteenth consecutive month of increased trade on WCE when compared to the same month of the previous year.

Thai Bourse And Thai Government Join In Singapore Road Show

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) will take listed companies on a road show entitled “Thai Equity 2006: Investor Forum” to Singapore on July 13 – 14, 2006. The show will provide information about the Thai economy and investment conditions, and boost confidence among foreign businessmen and institutional investors, SET President Ms. Patareeya Benjapolchai stated today.

SWX And virt-x Key figures For June And Q2 2006

In June 2006, a cumulative total of CHF 157 billion was transacted on SWX Swiss Exchange and virt-x. This corresponds to a 28 % decline versus the record-breaking month of May. However, the quarter-on-quarter comparison reveals that turnover still holding at a very high level. As compared to the second quarter of 2005, the volume of trading in shares (+59 %), derivatives (+58 %) and ETFs (+78 %) registered a marked increase. In contrast, the opposite trend was to be observed in the bond segment
