MTA International To Launch On 24 July 2006 - The New Segment Within Borsa Italiana's MTA Equity Market

On Monday 24 July 2006, amendments to the Market Rules and accompanying Instructions will come into force, precipitating the launch of MTA International, a new segment within Borsa Italiana’s MTA regulated equity market dedicated to the trading of shares of foreign issuers already listed in other EU regulated markets.

Kuwait Stock Exchange Trading Report For June 2006

The index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange reached 10,001.9 points at the end of June, an increase of 81.2 points from the closing value at the end of May. The weighted index reached 507.19 points at the end of June, an increase of 2.64 points from the closing value at the end of May.

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE) announced the pricing of its secondary offering of 8,000,000 shares of common stock at $56.00 per share. With effect from Tuesday 18 July, five more ETFs issued by Indexchange Investment AG are available for trading in XTF. CESR Consults On Its Draft Work Programme For MiFID Level 3 Work - Ensuring Convergence Amongst Supervisors

Following the European Securities Committee and EU Parliament approval of the draft MiFID Level 2 implementing measures, CESR is now shifting its attention to ensuring that day-to-day application of the MIFID, which is due to be transposed by Member States by January 2007 and will apply by November 2007, takes place in a convergent manner amongst supervisors across Europe.
