The Minneapolis Grain Exchange announced today that it will be closed on Tuesday, January 2, in observance of the national day of mourning for President Gerald Ford. Electronic markets will be open from 6:30 p.m. on the 1st through 6:00 a.m. on the 2nd. Electronic markets will open again at 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd. The historical minimum value of the MICEX Index (18.53 points) was registered on 5 October 1998.
