The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced the position accountability, expiring month position limits and reporting levels for its NYMEX iPort 3–2–1 Plus energy index futures contract, that will begin trading on January 21 for trade date January 22.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Fred Alger Management, Inc. (Alger Management) and Fred Alger & Company, Incorporated (Alger Inc.) will pay $40 million to settle the Commission's charges that the companies allowed market timing and late trading in the Alger Fund.
