The Minneapolis Grain Exchange Breaks Monthly Spring Wheat Electronic Volume Record

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange) announced today that with three trading days still remaining, April’s electronic hard red spring wheat futures volume has already exceeded the previous monthly volume record set in February 2007. As of the close of trading on April 25, the electronic volume for hard red spring wheat futures was at 38,016 contracts, more than 5,000 contracts above the previous record.

William C. Alsover, Jr. Resigns From NASD Board Of Governors, Will Continue To Serve Small Firms In Consulting Capacity

NASD announced that William C. Alsover, Jr., who has represented small firms on NASD's Board of Governors for the last five years, has resigned from his Board seat. SEC Announces $79 Million Fair Fund Distribution In The Edward Jones Revenue Sharing Settlement

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the distribution of a $79 million Fair Fund to current and former customers of Edward D. Jones & Co., L.P. The beneficiaries of the Fair Fund were victims of Edward Jones' failure to adequately disclose revenue payments from a select group of mutual fund companies.
