New Trading Hours For Euronext

New trading hours will take effect on Euronext cash markets from Monday, 19 February 2007. These changes will help harmonize trading hours within Europe, and will also make it easier to manage European indices.

Federation Of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) Key Statistics January 2007 – Bucharest Stock Exchange Figures Now Included

During January 2007, the value of equity trading of European Stock Exchanges was close to 1,733 billion EUR, this means a 25.5% increase compare to the same period last year. The equity market capitalisation of FESE Member exchanges has reached a record level of 11,654 billion EUR, above 16% increase in one year.

Appointment Of Gerald Greiner As HKEx Chief Operating Officer Approved

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) today (Friday) received the written approval of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on the appointment of Gerald Greiner as Chief Operating Officer of HKEx and Chief Executive of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The appointments took effect today.

Olesnyckyj, the former General Counsel of Monster Worldwide, Inc. with securities fraud for participating in a multi-year scheme to secretly backdate stock options granted to thousands of Monster officers, directors and employees, including himself.
