CME Group To Offer Volatility-Based Quoting Convention For FX Options - OTC Quoting Convention To Be Offered On Six Major Currency Pairs

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange and the largest regulated marketplace for foreign exchange (FX) trading, today announced plans to offer volatility-based quoting on six of its FX options on futures contracts: Euro FX, British pound, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, Swiss franc and Australian dollar. Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Monday, 5 November 2007, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The Bulgarian Stock Exchange will use Deutsche Börse's electronic trading system Xetra the two partners announced today. Deutsche Börse will also assume technological market control of the Sofia Stock Exchange.
