Hector Sants has been appointed chief executive of the Financial Services Authority (FSA). He will take up the post on 20 July 2007, succeeding John Tiner who steps down at the Annual Public Meeting on 19 July.

Clearstream’s Core Business Continues Its Growth In June 2007

Clearstream processed 2,64 million international transactions in June 2007, a 36 percent rise over June 2006 (1,94 million). Of these transactions, 74 percent were Over the Counter (OTC) transactions and 26 percent were registered as stock exchange transactions.
