November Is Busiest Month Ever At CBOE Futures Exchange - November Trading Increases 303% Over Year-Ago, Year-To-Date Volume Surpasses One Million Contract Mark For First Time

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) announced today that trading volume during November 2007 totaled 189,408 contracts, an increase of 303% over November 2006's volume of 47,037 contracts. November's average daily volume was 9,019 contracts, compared to the year-ago average daily volume of 2,240 contracts. Trading Volumes At Eurex Reached 172 Million Contracts Growth Year-On-Year Above 30 percent - Equity Index Derivatives Strongest Segment With 73 Million Contracts

Eurex, the international derivatives exchange, saw a turnover of approx. 172 million contracts in November, an increase of 32 percent compared with November 2006 (130 million contracts). On average, 7.8 million contracts were traded daily in November, the average daily turnover in 2007 is 7.5 million contracts. In addition, open interest stands currently at 144 million contracts.

In November €244.6 billion were turned over on Xetra and on the floor of Börse Frankfurt – a rise of 41 percent year-on-year (November 2006: €173,5 billion). MGEX Continues Its Record Growth

Another monthly volume record was set at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange). November trading volume exceeded the previous November record volume set in 2004 by 7 percent (179,486 vs. 165,833 contracts). It also ranked as the fifth highest monthly volume in the history of the Exchange and was 25-percent higher than last November’s volume.

KCBT Finishes November With New Contract Highs - Wheat Futures Contract And Exchange Post Volume Gains

Trading volume at the Kansas City Board of Trade during the month of November posted gains over both last month and last November. Volume in the hard red winter wheat contract increased 4.6 percent when compared to November 2006 and increased 18 percent when compared to last month.
