Dubai Commodity Clearing Corporation Aligns To UAE Good Delivery Standard For Gold And Silver Settlement

As of Friday, 21st July 2023, the Dubai Commodity Clearing Corporation (DCCC) has implemented changes regarding the acceptance of Refineries/Brands for Physically Settled Gold Contracts in alignment with the UAE Good Delivery Standard for Gold (UAEGD). The DCCC will only accept Refineries/Brands listed as 'Active UAE Good Delivery Gold Members,' which can be verified on the link https://ugd.gov.ae/.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Holds Symposium To Support Bond Financing Of Private Enterprises

Recently, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) organized and held a symposium to support bond financing of private enterprises, during which it fully listened to the opinions and suggestions of private enterprises on further optimizing the bond financing support mechanism and guiding the precise support of financial resources for private enterprises' development. Representatives from nine private enterprises participated in the symposium and put forth constructive suggestions. The event was also attended by officials from the Department of Corporate Bond Supervision of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), SSE, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), and China Securities Finance Corporation Limited.

Japan Financial Services Agency And Bank Of Japan: Progress In Data Integration And Next Steps

The Financial Services Agency (FSA) and the Bank of Japan (BOJ) have been taking initiatives toward data integration with a view to further enhancing their monitoring capabilities and reducing the burden on financial institutions. In fiscal 2022, the FSA and the BOJ coordinated to conduct a joint experiment to deliberate on a more effective and efficient framework for data collection and management (common data platform).

Shanghai Stock Exchange Launches STAR 100 Index To Implement The Strategic Plan Of Sci-tech Self-Reliance And Self-Strengthening At Higher Levels

Today, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the China Securities Index Co., Ltd. formally announced the release arrangement of the SSE STAR 100 Index (hereinafter referred to as the STAR 100 Index). The STAR 100 Index selects 100 securities from the STAR Market with medium-sized market capitalization and good liquidity as index samples. Together with the STAR 50 Index, they form the scale-based index series of the SSE STAR Market, reflecting the overall performance of securities of STAR Market listed companies with different scales in terms of market capitalization.

Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) refers to the Notices of Compliance (“NOCs”) issued to Kitchen Culture Holding Limited (the “Company”) on 14 July 2021 and 19 August 2021 and the Company’s announcement dated 21 July 2023 on the findings of the special audit (“Special Audit Report”) by the special auditor, Deloitte & Touche Enterprise Risk Services Pte Ltd (“Deloitte”). Deloitte reports the findings directly to SGX RegCo and the Company’s sponsor, SAC Capital Private Limited.

The Financial Services Agency (FSA), jointly with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of the Environment (MOE), has held repeated meetings of the Study Group for Discussing Development of Environment for Climate Transition Finance (Chair: Dr. Ito Kunio, Director, Hitotsubashi CFO Education and Research Center). The study group, aiming to improve the credibility and effectiveness of transition finance, has formulated a Guidance on Follow-ups Involving Transition Finance - Toward Better Dialogues with fundraisers as a guide to secure the steady accomplishment of transition strategies and the improvement of corporate value particularly after the provision of funds.
