In May 2009 the RTS Index went up by 30.58% to 1087.59 points as of May 29, 2009 against 832.87 points as of April 30, 2009. Most of the positive impact on the RTS Index dynamics was coming from growing prices for Sberbank ordinary shares (SBER) (plus 59.81points), Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) (plus 33.08 points) and ordinary shares of OJSC "OC "Rosneft" (ROSN) (plus 23.99 points).

Xetra MidPoint Is Europe's Successful Regulated Platform For Discrete Trading - Major Increase In Closed Xetra Order book Activities - Xetra Release 10.0 Improves Functionality

Since the introduction of Xetra MidPoint six months ago, trading activities and liquidity in this closed Xetra order book have continuously increased. The daily average number of orders in the last month was around 12,000 – with a peak level of 28,000 orders. The highest daily turnover to date was in the region of €40 million. In Xetra MidPoint, orders are executed at the midpoint of the best bid/ask-spread.
