Direct Edge reported over 988 million shares handled per day in July, representing a 248% year-over-year increase. Direct Edge’s handled market share in all U.S. equity securities was 10.06% for the month, with a 4.88% matched market share. Volume, handled market share, and matched market share were all-time highs.

HM Treasury Appoints New Non-Executive Board Members

(ISS) and Egan Jones have recommended that CME Group shareholders vote "FOR" the share issuance to be undertaken by CME Group in connection with its acquisition of NYMEX Holdings. In separate reports, ISS and Egan Jones also recommended that NYMEX Holdings shareholders vote "FOR" the transaction.
