The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) has introduced a new Secure Web Service for Premier subscribers of NASDAQ OMX Global Index Watch, a data service for key NASDAQ OMX stock, commodity and fixed-income indexes. This new service facilitates more efficient access to and integration of valuable index data. NASDAQ OMX calculates more than 1,500 diverse indexes in the U.S., Europe and throughout the world.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that as part of its in-depth investigation of stock loan practices in the industry, it has imposed a fine of $1 million against Raymond James & Associates, Inc. of St. Petersburg, FL, and a fine of $400,000 against RBC Capital Markets Corporation of New York, for various stock loan improprieties.
