Interxion Appoints Eddy Van Den Broeck As MD Switzerland

Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, has appointed Eddy Van den Broeck as Managing Director, Interxion Switzerland. He will be responsible for driving the continued growth of Interxion Switzerland and extending the capacity of its Zurich carrier-neutral data centre, the largest of its type in Switzerland, to meet growing customer demand.

CESR To Hold Open Hearing On Draft Advice On UCITS IV Directive

CESR announced today to hold a public hearing on CESR's draft advice on the UCITS IV Directive. The hearing is part of consultations CESR helds to seek stakeholder's views on its draft advice. The hearing will take place the 1 September 2009 at CESR's premises in Paris. It is open to the public.

Bursa Malaysia's Reduction Of Tick Size Poised To Boost Liquidity In Equities Market

Bursa Malaysia today announced the revised tick size structure, which will see a smaller tick size, and is planned for implementation on Monday, 3 August 2009. The tick size is the minimum price variation between the buy and sell price for a stock. The tick size is reduced in line with the current practice by global developed markets and more importantly, to create market depth, enable price discovery and boost liquidity in the local equities market.

AIAF To Become The Governing Body Of Electronic Platform SENAF, Which Turns Into To A Multilateral Trading Platform (MTF) - The First MTF Approved In Spain

The Spanish stock market regulator, CNMV, has approved the conversion of the Public Debt electronic trading platform SENAF into a Multilateral Trading Platform (MTF) as well as the Regulations that govern it. It thus becomes the first MTF approved in Spain, in compliance with the requirements set by the MiFID Directive and with the Spanish regulations that transposed this European Directive, which envisages the creation of this facility in financial markets.

CME Group Inc. (Nasdaq: CME) today reported that second-quarter GAAP total revenues increased 15 percent to $648 million, and GAAP operating income increased 16 percent to $399 million.
