ASX: Consultation Paper to Consider Foreign Exempt Companies for Index Inclusion
Standard & Poor’s Index Services (S&P) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today released a consultation paper seeking market feedback on a proposal to make Foreign Exempt companies listed on ASX eligible for index inclusion.

DME Brent And Oman Crude Oil Financial Contracts To Commence Trading On The Dubai Mercantile Exchange On June 2nd 2008
The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) today announced that as of trade date 02 JUNE 2008, customers of the DME will be able to trade the Exchange’s two new financially settled futures contracts for Brent and Oman crude oil in addition to its benchmark DME Oman Crude Oil Futures Contract.

NYSE Euronext Announces First Quarter 2008 Financial Results - Record Quarterly Trading Volumes Across Products And Geographies Drives Revenue Growth - NYSE Euronext Conference Call At 8:00 A.M. (New York, EST)/2:00p.m. (Paris, CET)
NYSE Euronext (NYX) today reported net income of $230 million, or $0.87 per diluted share, for the quarter ended Mar. 31, 2008, a $162 million or 238% increase as compared to net income of $68 million, or $0.43 per diluted share, for the quarter ended Mar. 31, 2007. These results are presented in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The comparative results for 2007 reflect the operations of NYSE Group only.

President Zhang Yujun of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) said that the SSE will, recently, take 7 measures including an early introduction of the "Detailed Rules on Members' Management of Clients' Securities Trading" and the enhancement of innovation for promotion of the implementation of the "Rules on Supervision over Securities Companies" and the "Rules on Risk Disposal of Securities Companies" (the Two Rules).

OneChicago, LLC today reported that 336,642 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in April 2008. YTD volume stands at 1,521,062. Open interest stood at 529,244 contracts in April 2008.
